Thanks for your comments. The first point is absolutely right: we are on both sides (mainly developing micro services) but we end up spending 80% of our time in software engineering task and only 20% in Data Science one. With the support of another dev team we could change that balance. Still I find it very useful as a DS to understand production constraints.
